Marine Division

Pacific Fluid’s terminal and fleet of trucks have been involved in delivering marine lubricants to deep-draft vessels since the mid 1970s’. At that time we delivered on behalf of only one major oil company. In only a few short years this business grew to be quite substantial and the continued growth dictated the need for more constant management. Deliveries are made from Coos Bay, Oregon, to Prince Rupert, British Columbia (B.C.) and Alaska.

The business segments of the Marine Division are:

  • Marine Storage and TerminalizingPacific Fluids has over 20,000 square feet of covered storage. For bulk product storage, tanks range from 4,300 to 25,000 gallons, including heated tanks as required.
  • Marine BlendingPacific Fluids blends marine lubricants for many of the major marine oil companies as well as for many commercial accounts.
  • Land DeliveriesPacific Fluids fleet consists of truck/trailer tanker combinations, semi-tank trucks, and dry vans for delivering products to the deep-draft vessels when they come alongside docks.
  • Water Deliveries – With our access to barge lines which assist us to make deliveries to ships at anchor and to docks that are not accessible to our truck fleet by land, these deliveries are made in Puget Sound from Olympia to Bellingham, and as far west as Port Angeles, all points in Vancouver, B.C., further north to points such as Port Moody, B.C., and from Portland, Oregon along the Columbia River to Astoria, Oregon.
  • Fuel DeliveriesPacific Fluids has multiple Military contracts to fulfill each and every month, to include air, land, and sea going vessels
